2015 student leadership
Auditions and interviews for the 2015 CMB Leadership Council will take place during the week of April 20, 2015.
Drum Major auditions will take place on Thursday, 4/23 at 4pm in BFAC 131.
All other interviews will take place Monday, 4/20, through Wednesday, 4/22.
All signup sheets are located on the bulletin board by Dr. Underwood's office.

Drum Major
Vacancies: 2 (possibly 3) Drum Majors conduct the band during rehearsals as well as on the field for performance. The ideal candidate will be either a junior or a senior, and should possess some knowledge of conducting. Candidates should be music majors. Outstanding non-majors will be considered. This audition will include an interview as well as a conducting component. |
Section Leader
Vacancies: up to 10 The ideal candidate of section leader must have at least one year of service to the CMB. These individuals do NOT have to be music majors. |
Announcer
Vacancies: 1 The announcer must have at least one year of service to the CMB, and will audition by reading a prepared script. |
Senior Assistant
Vacancies: 2 Senior assistants are responsible for the logistical support of the CMB, which includes instrument and uniform inventory, rehearsal attendance, music distribution, and other tasks leading up to August's band camp and throughout the season. The ideal candidate for senior assistant will be entering his/her senior year/4th year of service. Outstanding juniors will be considered. |
